LEAD CONDUCT OF OPERATIONS (ConOps) Mentor

The Field mentors would need to have experience in one of the below focus areas:

D4 End States
Soil & Groundwater Operations
Waste Projects and Operations
Radiological Control Conduct of Work

POSITION OVERVIEW

Provides leadership, coordination, and oversight for a team of field mentors supporting DOE cleanup operations, ensuring effective implementation of Conduct of Operations principles and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate Conduct of Operations Mentors across projects
Establish priorities and focus areas with project leadership
Oversee field assessments and observations
Provide weekly and monthly performance reporting
Ensure proper documentation in corrective action systems
Facilitate communication between stakeholders
Support Conduct of Operations training development

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
10+ years in operations, maintenance, or radiological control
10+ years in leadership roles
Experience in DOE or similar high-hazard environments
Prior Hanford experience preferred
