LEAD CONDUCT OF OPERATIONS (ConOps) Mentor

 

The Field mentors would need to have experience in one of the below focus areas:

 

  • D4 End States
  • Soil & Groundwater Operations
  • Waste Projects and Operations
  • Radiological Control Conduct of Work

 

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

 

Provides leadership, coordination, and oversight for a team of field mentors supporting DOE cleanup operations, ensuring effective implementation of Conduct of Operations principles and continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Conduct of Operations Mentors across projects
  • Establish priorities and focus areas with project leadership
  • Oversee field assessments and observations
  • Provide weekly and monthly performance reporting
  • Ensure proper documentation in corrective action systems
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders
  • Support Conduct of Operations training development

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years in operations, maintenance, or radiological control
  • 10+ years in leadership roles
  • Experience in DOE or similar high-hazard environments
  • Prior Hanford experience preferred
