CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR/SR CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR
Compensation: (Grade 30: $85,527 - $ 104,533
Grade 31: $92,703 - $113,269)
Location: West Valley Demonstration Project - New York
West Valley Cleanup Alliance is the prime contractor selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to manage the Phase 1B Deactivation & Demolition Contract at the West Valley Demonstration Project site. The site is a scenic 30-minute drive south of Buffalo, New York. In cooperation with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, West Valley Demonstration Project continues to decontaminate and decommission facilities at this site.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Contract Administrator will monitor all activities related to meeting objectives on assigned contracts, act as a liaison between different departments, and ensure clarity and compliance with contract terms. Duties include but not limited to maintaining the conformed Prime Contract and Prime Contract Status Logs, assisting site personnel with interpretation of Prime Contract requirements, and Contract Deliverable reviews and Contract communications with Department of Energy Contracting Officer.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
Grade 30:
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Engineering, or Management
- Minimum of two (2) years related progressive experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to occupation
Grade 31:
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Engineering, or Management
- Minimum of four (4) years related progressive experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to occupation
Licenses/Certifications:
- Certification by the National Contract Management Association preferred
Other Requirements:
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/SCOPE OF WORK
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following established safe work practices and procedures; including following all safety rules, use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE), investigating and reporting identified safety concerns or situations.
- Adhere to standards contained in the Company “Code of Conduct,” Company EEO practices, and DOE directives.
- Assist in management of prime contract at the West Valley Demonstration Project.
- Perform general contract administration using the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) principles.
- Participate in prime contract modification processes.
- Track and maintain agreements, contract milestones, deadlines, and renewals.
- Maintain organized records of contracts, amendments, and correspondence related to agreements.
- Ensure fulfillment of contracted obligations from contracting parties.
- Ensure all training and qualifications are up to date, attend educational workshops, and participate in professional societies.
